"When we made these recordings, we had no idea an album would come out of them. At the annual Maggetti reunion in 2014 and again in 2015, we set up our Zoom recorder and started playing, hoping only to listen back later and gauge our progress. After a few years in the proverbial vault, we’ve decided to share the best of them.

While there is plenty of soloing to go around, what really makes these recordings exciting is the interaction between the two guitar parts. There is an ebb and flow to each track as the music picks up steam and then releases. One chord progression morphs into another, eventually reverting to its original form. Each song has moments where you realize you've travelled far from where you started, but somehow, it’s all brought back home.

Making these recordings was a lot of fun. Everything you hear was unrehearsed, off-the-cuff improvisation with a healthy dose of experimentation. We hope you enjoy the journey as much as we enjoyed the ride."
